Travel Project 2013

Part 1: Discussion: Post your reply as a comment on WIS. Due September 9, 2013.

------> Have you ever travelled internationally before? Where did you go? What were your experiences with the people, language, food, sites, weather, etc.? Do you feel international travel and cultural exposure is important for Americans? Why or why not?

For full credit on the discussion:

• You must reply before class to all parts of the above questions.
• Answers must be in complete sentences, with no grammatical mistakes, and be well thought-out.
• You must comment in a meaningful way on at least two other student's response.

Part 2: Virtual Travel Slideshow: Pick a Spanish-speaking country from your map. Search on Trip Advisor for popular destinations (sites, activities, etc) in your chosen country. Create a slideshow with pictures on TripWow highlighting the popular destinations in your country. Due Date TBD.

Only 2 people per country - first come, first served.

For Full Credit on your slideshow:

• Project must be completed and accessible online prior to the start of class.
• Your slideshow must include at least 7 different places with at least 1 picture for each.
• Your slideshow must be followed by an oral presentation by you on why you chose to visit each of the locations you chose and a fact/information about each place.
• You must be respectful during others' presentations.
